- About Me:
- I am a proud wife, mother and grandmother, but most of all, I am a proud woman of God who trys to not only talk the talk, but walk the walk. I attended Tennessee State University. I did not finish and earn a degree because of personal family issues and while I was on leave from my studies I married (marriage #1) and moved to Florida. Over the course of 13 years of marriage two beautiful daughters were born, but the marriage ran its course and we both moved on. God blessed me with a wonderful man to share my life with, along with three more children whom I love as my own. He helped me continue to bring my daughters up in the way that they should go and has been a loving, supportive husband for over 11 years now. Now, for just a little bit about me, the person/individual. I am a poet/inspirational writer; singer/songwriter. By profession, I am a Library Assistant with the state of Tennessee. Most of my time is allotted to family life, work and church activities. Overall, since High School years, God has blessed my life in very special ways. I have had good years and not so good years, but the process of life has made me a stronger and spirit-filled individual who knows that having a close and personal relationship with God is a must to make it in this day and time and truly consider yourself complete, no matter how successful you are. In the end, it is only that relationship that matters. God bless all who care enough to take the time to read this.

Possible Elimination of the Stratford Band Program (Please say it aint so!)
I am posting a statement of concern that I sent in response to the letter from Mr. Johnny Croft, Director of Bands at Stratford. If you are as outraged as I am about this decision, please write a letter of concern protesting this decision if the opportunity presents itself. My letter is posted below:

Remembering Spartan's Who Have Passed On....
Greetings to all of my fellow Spartan Alumni:
Just wanted to make you aware that I have started a group entitled Stratford Spartan Alumni Memorial Group dedicated to those Spartan's who have passed on. I have listed a few that I am aware of, but unfortunately, I'm sure that there are more that I am not aware of. So, please, if you know of some, list them within that group so that the memory of the lives that they touched will remain alive.

- i'll tell her. she's doing ok. she has to do dialysis at home now but she's pretty upbeat. i just lost my dad. we put him to rest on the 5th. he had kidney disease as well so please keep me in your prayers.
